Welcome to LineupDesigner. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. LineupDesigner is a web-based application for managing hockey teams and creating lineups, operated by LMCE Sweden AB (org. nr 559XXX-XXXX), based in Sweden. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LMCE Sweden AB.
LineupDesigner provides tools for hockey coaches and team managers to manage player rosters, create lineup formations, export them as images, organize training groups, and track pairing statistics. The service is offered in tiered subscriptions (Basic and Coach) with varying functionality. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are of legal age. You may register using email/password or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
As a user, you are responsible for:
LineupDesigner is designed for adult coaches to manage team rosters that may include minor players. As the account holder, you act as a data controller for the player data you enter. You are solely responsible for obtaining proper consent from parents or guardians before entering any minor's personal information. In accordance with COPPA (US), GDPR Article 8 (EU), and PIPEDA (Canada), we do not knowingly allow children under 13 to create accounts or directly provide us with personal information.
You retain full ownership of all data you create and upload to the service, including player rosters, lineup formations, and exported images. LineupDesigner stores your data securely and will never sell or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the service. Upon account deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
The LineupDesigner name, logo, design, and underlying software are the intellectual property of LMCE Sweden AB. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the service. Exported images you create using the service are yours to use freely, though free-tier exports may include a LineupDesigner watermark.
Payment for subscriptions is handled securely via Stripe. The following applies:
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge according to Stripe's retry schedule. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be suspended or downgraded to the free tier. We will notify you via email before any downgrade occurs. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds.
You can cancel your subscription at any time in Settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account is downgraded to the free version. No refunds are given for partially used periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact support@lineupdesigner.com.

In compliance with the EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854), you have the right to export your data and switch away from our service:
LineupDesigner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LMCE Sweden AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits. This expressly includes any reliance on AI-generated support responses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LMCE Sweden AB from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including but not limited to claims related to the personal data of minors you have entered into the service.
You can delete your account at any time via Settings. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles. For EU consumers, this does not affect your mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be settled by the competent courts of Sweden. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr). Nothing in these terms prevents you from filing a complaint with your local consumer protection authority.
We may update these terms as needed. For material changes, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before they take effect.
